The USO is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to support the troops by providing morale, welfare and recreation-type services to our men and women in uniform. On the website, you can learn how to send packages to the troops or become a volunteer.



  The Thank You Foundation is an organization dedicated
  to helping people show appreciation and express gratitude
  for members of the U.S. Military, both past and present. 
  On their website, you can find out how to volunteer your services to our servicemembers.

The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization that provides American veterans with the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. On the website, you can learn how to help local veterans participate in an Honor Flight trip.


Operation Homefront provides emergency and morale assistance for our troops, the families they leave behind and for wounded warriors when they return home.  Visit their website to learn how you can help their mission.

The Let's Say Thanks program allows you to choose a greeting card design, create a message and submit your completed card to be printed and delivered to the troops courtesy of Xerox.


The American Red Cross is often called upon to help our troops.  Their website can provide you with resources and information on blood donation and more. 


The Armed Forces Foundation is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comfort and solace to members of the military community through financial support, career counseling, housing assistance and recreational therapy programs.  


 America Supporting Americans is a non-profit, 501(c)(3)
 organization that links individual units in all branches of
 the military with communities across the country.  Many
 Fourth District cities have gotten involved in this

Adopt a Platoon is a volunteer-based nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to serving deployed troops by providing cards, letters and care packages to lift the morale of Troops as they serve far from home and assist military families.

  USA Cares is a Kentucky-based 501(c)3 nonprofit,
  charitable organization founded in 2003 to provide
  post- 9/11 military families with financial and 
  advocacy support in their time of need.  On the website,
  you can learn how you can help the organization assist our troops and their families.

Homes for Our Troops is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) that collects donations of money, building materials and professional labor to coordinate the process of building homes that provide severely injured service men and women with maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently.

Trees for Troops, a program sponsored by the nonprofit, 501(c)(3) Christmas SPIRIT Foundation, distributes Christmas trees to military families and troops stationed at more than sixty military installations in the U.S. and abroad.
